Life of the party- Sprinklers sing. Overlapping, overhead, and over it all. A tall glass, on ice with a twist of lemon. Green leaves against glass. A warm breeze against skin. Half heard playlists reverberate through the cool tiled walls of a bathroom sanctuary.
Veil**** Mist hangs over heather and gorse. Lace over velvet, wool socks, leather shoes. Fogged up glasses, the warmth of the body with frost in the air. The faintest smell of the fire. A crackle like the twigs that give underfoot. The glow of your cheeks, sunlight through a t-shirt pulled over your head.
